Emma Laue Children, was born not long after the birth of Emma's son. After unsuccessfully searching high and low to find stylish, yet functional clothing for her 'little man', she embarked on a mission to help fill this void.

Initially Emma wanted only to design and create a boy’s collection, but because of the serious lack in the market, her focus has expanded to now include girls’ wear too. 

Emma is an Australian presently living in the tropics of Singapore. After becoming a 'trailing spouse' and selling her homemade clothing to friends and giving them as gifts,  it became time to set up Emma Laue Children as a business venture and to give more people the opportunity to enjoy her gorgeous designs. 

Becoming a mum to two beautiful children has inspired her to redirect her energy and create gorgeous things, not just for her children, but also for the wider, style-conscious community. Emma understands what works in terms of design and functionality as well as the aesthetic appeal of children’s garments.

Emma's designs are classic, with a contemporary edge, and all of her pieces are named after little people she knows. She has a distinct passion for quality and takes pride in her designs, which are finished to the highest degree. Emma still produces many of her garments by hand herself, but being a busy mum to two active kids under three, and with time being of the essence, she now also outsources some of her pieces to highly trained seamstresses. 

As she is based in a humid climate, Emma's designs are dictated by the 'season of the eternal summer'. All fabrics she selects are natural, predominately 100% cotton or linen, which are perfect choices. Both fibres are strong and hardwearing and both let the body breathe, in turn, keeping your little ones cool. Emma sources fabrics with gorgeous prints and textured plains that are attractive and whimsical whist still attaining a sense of class. She travels around the world to hand source fabrics, trims and accessories.
